In the following, we inform you about the collection of personal data when using our website. You have the following rights with respect to us regarding personal data concerning you:

2.1 General rights

You have a right to information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, objection to processing and data portability. Insofar as processing is based on your consent, you have the right to revoke this consent with effect for the future.

2.2 Rights in the case of data processing according to legitimate interest

Pursuant to Art. 21(1) DSGVO, you have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you which is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(e) DSGVO (data processing in the public interest) or on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) DSGVO (data processing for legitimate interest). In the event of your objection, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

2.3 Right to complain to a supervisory authority

You also have the right to complain to a competent data protection supervisory authority about our processing of your personal data.

3. Collection of personal data when visiting our website

In the case of merely informational use of the website, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise transmit information to us, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. If you wish to view our website, we only collect data that is technically necessary for us to display our website to you and to ensure its stability and security. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. F DSGVO.

4. Collection of personal data during registration

All data entered in the input mask during registration will be transmitted to us and stored. Mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk, filling in the other fields is optional. The processing of this data is permitted on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. b DSGVO. We carry out a deletion of the data taking into account the legal retention obligations.

5. Newsletter

With your consent according to Art. 6 (1) lit. a DSGVO, you can subscribe to our newsletter, with which we inform you about our current training content and events.

For the registration to our newsletter we use the so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that after your registration, we will send you an e-mail to the e-mail address you provided, in which we ask you to confirm that you wish to receive the newsletter. In addition, we store your IP addresses and the times of registration and confirmation. The purpose of this procedure is to be able to prove your registration and, if necessary, to clarify a possible misuse of your personal data.

Mandatory information for sending the newsletter is your e-mail address, title and name. You can revoke your consent to the sending of the newsletter at any time and unsubscribe from the newsletter. You can declare the revocation by clicking on the link provided in every newsletter e-mail or by sending an e-mail to info@sciarc.de. We need your salutation, title and name in case there is an error with the automatic unsubscription and we have to search for you manually in our distribution list.

As a matter of principle, your data will not be transferred to third parties unless we are legally obliged to do so, or the transfer of data is necessary for the performance of the contractual relationship, or you have previously expressly consented to the transfer of your data.
